Tigran Urikhanyan quits as Prosperous Armenia lawmaker
Tigran Urikhanyan has announced his decision to quit the Prosperous Armenia parliamentary faction, the faction said in a statement on Tuesday.
Urikhanyan submitted a petition to leave the faction to its leader Gagik Tsarukyan, Prosperous Armenia said.
“Tigran Urikhanyan has passed a long political path in the Prosperous Armenia parliamentary faction, but at this stage the approaches and principles of the MP are not in line with the approaches of the Prosperous Armenia faction. For this reason, the Prosperous Armenia faction is suspending its cooperation with Tigran Urikhanyan. The latter will continue its activity as an independent deputy,” the statement read.
