Football Federation of Armenia, head coach agree to terminate contract
The Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) and the head coach of the Armenian national football team Abraham Khashmanyan have reached a mutual agreement to terminate the contract.
The decision was made as a result of several meetings between Football Federation President Armen Melikbekyan and Abraham Khashmanyan, FFA reported.
The FFA head thanked the coach for leading the team in a difficult situation and wished him success in his future coaching career.
The new head coach of the Armenian national team will be named in the near future.
Abraham Khashmanyan was appointed head coach of the team on 6 November 2019. His contract was set to expire on 30 November 2020.
