Contract soldier dies in Artsakh
A contract soldier of the Artsakh Defense Army was fatally wounded at the military post of an eastern military unit under yet unclear circumstances on Friday.
The incident took place at around 7pm, the Artsakh Defense Ministry said in an official statement.
The serviceman was identified as Hayk N. Asryan, 23.
A probe has been launched into the circumstances of the soldier’s death.
The ministry says it shares the heavy grief of the loss, extending its condolences to the family and fellow servicemen of the deceased.
