361 candidates to compete for parliamentary seats in Artsakh Republic
The Central Electoral Commission of the Artsakh Republic has published the candidates’ lists of the parties and alliances which have submitted documents to participate in the parliamentary elections.
As the Commission said in a released statement, ten political parties and two alliances with total number of 361 candidates have submitted documents. The Central Electoral Commission is now set to assess the submissions on the eligibility, the source said.
To note, general elections are scheduled to be held in the Republic of Artsakh on 31 March 2020. Voters will elect the president and 33 members of the National Assembly. It will be the first time the president and National Assembly are elected at the same time.
