Three injured as a passenger vehicle rolled over into the gorge on Gyumri-Ashotsk roadway
"Mercedes-Benz C180" car (driver Sargis Gh., born in 1978) ran off the roadway and about 25 meters rolled over into the gorge on Gyumri-Ashotsk roadway, Armenia’s ministry of emergency situations (MES) reported, adding the emergency call was received to Crisis management national center on February 21, at 23:47.
A fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the MES Regional Rescue Department dispatched to the scene.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene the driver and the passengers (Ani A., born in 1990, Miasnik V., born in 1991, Vardges V., born in 1992 and Susanna A., born in 1997) were taken out of the car by local forces and hospitalized to the medical center of Gyumri town, where doctors assessed the health condition of casualties as satisfactory.
Rescuers disconnected the automotive battery, closed the gas valve of the car, then put it back on the road.
