The opening of Slovakia’s Embassy in Yerevan will give a new impetus to bilateral relations, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated on Monday, receiving the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia Miroslav Lajčák.
As the press department at the government reported, the Prime Minister stressed that Armenia is interested in developing cooperation with Slovakia both in the bilateral and multilateral format as part of the European Union. In the words of the PM, the EU remains a key partner for Armenia in implementing the democratic reforms, and Armenia values the support of the EU structures and the member states in the process.
Pashinyan also thanked the Slovakian FM for the balanced approach of his country in the Nagorno Karabakh peace process.
To remind, Slovakia’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Miroslav Lajčák, who is in Armenia on an official visit, earlier participated in the opening of the country’s Embassy in Yerevan.
