Rock-fall occurred on Meghri-Yerevan roadway
A rock-fall had occurred on the 17 km of Meghri-Yerevan roadway near Lake Lichk on February 24 at 15.00. As Armenia’s ministry of emergency situations ( MES) reported, the respective emergency call was received to “911” service.
The operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MES dispatched to the scene. As a result of the accident, the roadway was one-way trafficable.
Works of removing the stones from the roadway are underway, the source said.
