No complaints among passengers of Tehran-Yerevan flight recorded by National Center of Disease Control
Tehran-Yerevan charter flight carrying 52 passengers landed on Wednesday at Zvarntos International airport, the Armenian ministry of healthcare reported, adding the passengers have been accompanied by the specialist of Armenia’s National Center of Disease Control and Prevention.
According to the source, all passengers had their temperature taken during the boarding, the flight and landing with no complaints and recorded temperature. The newly arrived passengers will be under home control.
The move comes after the Armenian government sealed the border with Iran for two weeks and limited air traffic in specific cases in an effort to guard against the new novel coronavirus that has killed at least 12 people in Iran.
The next group of Armenians willing to return to Armenia from Iran will be transported to Yerevan on February 28. As reported earlier, some 65 citizens of Armenia have applied to the country’s Embassy in Tehran and are waiting to leave the country.
