Road safety rules to be taught at Armenian schools
Classes on road safety and traffic rules will be introduced at Armenian primary schools, the Deputy Head of the Road Police of Armenia Arman Chilingaryan told on Thursday at the parliamentary hearings on the topic of current challenges of the road traffic and solutions.
As Chilingaryan informed, the Road Police has designed the course materials along with the Ministry of Education. As part of the initiative, a teachers’ training will be organized in the coming months.
“At the initial stage, the course will be piloted in some of the schools and will be delivered as an extracurricular activity. In the future, it may become a mandatory class,” said Chilingaryan.
