‘Knock on wood’: PM on virus situation in Armenia
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to Facebook on Friday to address the virus situation in the country.
“Knock on wood! No cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in Armenia so far. And if you follow all the rules in this poster, no cases will happen,” he wrote, sharing the Health Ministry’s poster on how to guard against the coronavirus.
The premier also called on Facebook users to share the poster as much as possible.
The poster offers such protective measures against the novel coronavirus as taking notice of a county’s epidemiological situation before planning a trip; regularly and thoroughly cleaning your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or washing them with soap and water; maintaining distance with anyone with acute respiratory infections or wearing masks while doing so; practicing respiratory hygiene (covering your mouth and nose with your tissue while sneezing and coughing, then disposing of the used tissue immediately) and seeking medical care early in the event of having flu-like symptoms.
