No new coronavirus cases recorded in Armenia, PM updates
No new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Armenia as nine people tested negative today, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan said during a Facebook live.
“As we informed earlier, we were waiting for the results of nine tests involving our citizens, and I am happy to inform that the test results were negative, according to the latest update from the ministry of health. This means, no new cases of coronavirus have been recorded,” said Pashinyan.
The PM assured that all those citizens who have been quarantined on suspicions of having the virus are under the control of the medics with no deterioration of their health condition.
To remind, Armenia reported its first coronavirus infection on Sunday in a 29-year-old citizen returning from Iran. Authorities have also quarantined around 30 people who have been in contact with the man.
