Paris mosque shooting: Gunman wounds man before fleeing on moped
A man has been shot by a gunman wearing a helmet at a mosque in Paris, according to reports in France.
The shooting happened in the courtyard of the place of worship in the Rue de Tanger, in the 19th arrondisment, Daily Mirror reported, citing France Bleu.
Several shots were fired during the attack, which happened at around 8pm local time, it is claimed.
The victim is said to be fighting for their life after being shot twice in the right leg, Le Parisien reports.
The gunman escaped on a moped.
The victim is a 32-year-old man, who has been rushed to the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital.
There were around 15 people at the mosque at the time of the shootings, according to Actu17.
No motive for the shooting has yet been established.
