No flu-like symptoms reported among the passengers of Milan-Yerevan flight
No flu-like symptoms were observed among the passengers of Milan-Yerevan flight that landed on Tuesday at Zvarntos International airport, Armenpress news agency reported citing Armenia’s healthcare and labour agency.
According to the source, the flight carried 40 passengers all of them underwent temperature screening. Preventive safety measures are in place at the airport, the source said, adding individual cards for each of the passengers were filled by the agency personnel to track their health condition.
The passengers were accompanied through a special gate, while the airport staff uses a separate baggage belt for them.
To note, Italy's coronavirus death toll jumped from 366 to 463 on Monday. It is the worst-hit country after China. The number of confirmed infection also increased by 24% from Sunday, official figures showed. Over the weekend, the Italian government made the unprecedented move of quarantining roughly 16 million people in the country’s northern region as a way of stemming the disease’s spread.
