8 new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Georgia
Eight more people have been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus in Georgia, bringing the country’s total cases to 23, Georgia Today reports.
The information was recently published on stopcov.ge, a special website created by the Ministry of Health of Georgia to report the coronavirus news to people, and in an attempt to stop the virus from spreading further, and to give online recommendations on how to avoid it.
The website also reads that there are 126 people quarantined on the territory of Georgia and 46 are in in-patient care.
Amiran Gamkrelidze, the head of the Nation Center for Disease Control in Georgia, has said that 23 tests have been sent to the Lugar laboratory.
