Embassy taking measures to facilitate the return of Armenian citizens from Italy
The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Italy issued a statement on Wednesday, urging the Armenian citizens to contact the Embassy for the facilitation of their return to Armenia amid the spread of coronavirus. According to the statement, the government of Armenia is taking measures to facilitate the return of Armenian citizens in Italy due to the situation occurred with the spread of coronavirus in Italy.
“We kindly ask you to contact the Embassy of Armenia in Italy within strict deadlines, providing the copy of the passport, copies of the entry visa or the residence permit as well as contact details,” the statement said.

To remind, earlier the foreign ministry issued a statement advising citizens to refrain from visiting Italy due to the spread of COVID-19 there. “Taking into account the measures announced by the authorities of Italy aimed at preventing the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), we urge the citizens of the Republic of Armenia to strictly refrain from visiting Italy and urgently call the citizens of Armenia who are currently in Italy to immediately suspend their trip and return to Armenia,” the statement said,
