Armenia quarantines 57 people after confirming three new coronavirus cases
57 people who have had close contact with the three people diagnosed with the novel coronavirus in Armenia have been placed under quarantine, Health Minister Arsen Torosyan said in a Facebook post.
Armenia confirmed three new coronavirus infections on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to four in the country.
Two of the patients are Armenian citizens aged 45 and 27, while the third one is a 51-year-old Italian who works in Armenia. All three have arrived from Italy.
Around 30 people were quarantined in Armenia on March 1, after the country reported its first case of coronavirus.
