Armenian Health Ministry: Four coronavirus cases confirmed in Armenia at the moment
The Armenian Ministry of Health dismisses reports alleging three more coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Armenia after the country reported three new cases of the virus on Wednesday, bringing the total of confirmed cases to four.
“Following the announcement of three new cases of the novel coronavirus, some reports emerged on social media alleging three more people have been diagnosed with coronavirus during examinations,” the ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
“Dear Facebook users, we urge you not to stir unnecessary panic among the public and have a sense of responsibility.
At the moment there are a total of 4 confirmed cases in Armenia, one of which was announced on March 1 and three others on March 11,” the ministry said, calling on people to follow only official news.
Two of the three people who tested positive for the coronavirus infection in Armenia on Wednesday are citizens of Armenia aged 45 and 27, while the third person is a 51-year-old Italian who works in Armenia.
