Classes suspended in Artsakh schools to prevent coronavirus spread
Classes at schools and educational institutions of the Artsakh Republic have been suspended for a week. The decision was announced by Artsakh Minister of Education, Science and Sport Narine Aghabalyan at a meeting with school principals of capital city Stepanakert.
As the minister said, the suspension of classes is connected with the risk of novel coronavirus spread, Artsakhpress news agency reported.
To remind, Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan earlier convened an enlarged consultation to discuss the activities being carried out by the Interdepartmental Commission to combat the new coronavirus. The president pointed to the importance of consistent conduct of preventive measures and permanent control over the epidemic situation in the republic.
