Armenia reports two more coronavirs cases
Armenia has confirmed two more coronavirus infections, bringing the total number of cases to eight in the country.
In a live broadcast on Facebook, Health Minister Arsen Torosyan said the two new coronavirus patients are among the 57 people quarantined in Armenia since March 12.
The minister urges citizens to limit contacts and refrain from taking part in mass events.
He also calls for the planned mass events, including wedding and baptism ceremonies, to be cancelled or held in a narrow circle.
The Armenian government has decided to close all educational institutions, including schools, universities and kindergartens, until at least March 23 in an effort to contain the spread of the virus.
