Armenia, Georgia close borders for ten days on mutual agreement
Starting from March 14 Armenia and Georgia close borders for ten days to prevent the spread of COVID-19.The decision was made following the telephone conversation between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.
The parties, however, agreed to facilitate the return of their respective citizens through a humanitarian corridor. Meanwhile, no restrictions will apply to cargo transportation as a transit corridor will also be ensured for freight.
