Basketball Federation temporarily stops all competitions
Taking into account the epidemiological situation in the world and the last decision of FIBA on cancellation of all the basketball competitions, the Basketball Federation of Armenia has made a decision to temporarily stop A League, B League and Armenian Cup tournament games. As the Federation said in a released statement, the decision was adopted after consultation with the title sponsor Vivaro Bet and leading basketball clubs of the country.
“The administrations of Armenian Basketball Federation and A league will follow the upcoming development of the situation and after the elimination of the danger of the epidemy, will make a decision about possible resumption of the games,” the source added.
