Levon Aronian’s wife in grave but stable condition
Australian chess player Arianne Caoili, the wife of leading Armenian chess player Levon Aronian, is in a grave but stable condition, Astghik Medical Center spokesperson Lusine Petrosyan told Panorama.am.
She continues to receive treatment at the intensive care unit of the hospital and is expected to undergo several surgeries, the spokesperson said.
“I cannot provide more information given the right of a person not to disclose personal data," she said.
Arianne Caoili was involved in a car crash in Yerevan on Sunday, shortly after midnight. Many were deeply saddened by the news, wishing the player a speedy recovery.
