Armenia bans entry of citizens from 16 coronavirus-hit countries
The Armenian government has banned the entry of citizens from a total of 16 countries with large coronavirus outbreaks, the Armenian Unified Infocenter said in a Facebook post.
The countries include China, Iran, South Korea, Japan, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Austria, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Meanwhile, Armenian citizens arriving from those countries will be placed under a 14-day quarantine.
The entry of a driver and a substitute driver of a vehicle transporting cargo to Armenia from those countries will not be restricted.
In addition, all Armenian citizens returning from foreign trips are required to self-isolate for 14 days and immediately contact the hotline at 060 838300 in the event of experiencing coronavirus symptoms.
