Lawyer: Kochayan remains in hospital
Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan is still in hospital, his lawyer Hayk Alumyan told reporters at the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction on Tuesday.
“I can’t describe his condition as normal. As you see, if he remains in hospital, he has not fully recovered yet and is set for full treatment,” he said.
“Given the ethical norms I cannot elaborate on the further circumstances of his health condition. Simply a very serious question has occurred to me and I am going to try to find its answer. How a perfectly healthy person suddenly found himself in such a health condition. I have questions in this regard and I am going to look for answers,” he added.
Kocharyan was hospitalized at Nairi Medical Center after experiencing sudden blood pressure fluctuations on March 7. Later he was transferred to Erebouni Medical Center.
