Artsakh urges Azerbaijan to refrain from escalating situation
The Artsakh Defense Ministry dismissed Azerbaijani media reports alleging the country’s frontline troops “launched a provocative action in the direction of Goranboy and left one soldier in the no man’s land.”
“The Defense Army frontline units adhere to the ceasefire regime. Moreover, the situation in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact remains relatively stable,” the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
“Therefore, we urge the Azerbaijani side to refrain from the short-sighted tactics of escalating the situation and not to create further tensions,” the statement said.
