Armenia reports 265 coronavirus cases as of March 25
Armenia has confirmed 16 new coronavirus infections as of 10am Wednesday, March 25, bringing the total number of cases to 265 in the country, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention reported.
So far, 16 patients have recovered from the disease in Armenia.
The results of 1,315 tests have been negative.
In a Facebook live late on Tuesday, Health Minister Arsen Torosyan said 14 people had recovered from coronavirus and 88 others had been released from quarantine. 12 out of the 14 recovered people never showed any coronavirus symptoms and were not hospitalized, while the 2 others were cured at the Nork Infectious Clinical Hospital in Yerevan.
Armenia imposed a week-long nationwide lockdown in a bid to contain the spread of the virus.
