Armenia suspends Artsakh visits amid coronavirus outbreak
Armenia is temporarily banning people from entering Artsakh as part of efforts to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus in the country, the Armenian Police said in a statement on Thursday.
Traffic patrols will immediately be deployed on the highways linking Armenia with Artsakh, including on Sotk-Karvachar highway.
Exceptions apply only to persons registered in Artsakh, cargo trucks, passenger cars if they are loaded, election observers and journalists set to cover the state elections in Artsakh slated for March 31 in case of showing relevant documents.
