The Armed Forces capable to overcome this challenge of pandemic
“In connection with the situation of novel coronavirus in Armenia concerns have been raised over the past day about the control of the situation in the Armed Forces with suggestions to bring the army to their military bases,” the ministry of defense said in a released statement.
“The RA Ministry of Defense appreciates the concerns and compassion voiced by various public circles, and assures it works round the clock to exert every effort to keep the Armed Forces free from coronavirus infections. We are confident that Armed Forces are capable to overcome this challenge of pandemic and constantly implement their missions of securing the inviolability of the state borders,” the statement said.
To remind, the defense ministry earlier reported that five servicemen had tested positive for coronavirus. The direct contacts of the soldiers had been put into quarantine.
