Coronavirus cases in Armenia by region as of March 31
As of March 31, 2020, capital city Yerevan had the highest number of people infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Armenia with 219 cases, followed by Ararat region with 113 and Kotayk region by 88 cases.
As the press secretary at the health ministry Alina Nikoghosyan informed, in total, 532 cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Armenia, and 31 people were cured. In her words, the place of residence of 30 patients out of the total number are currently clarified, due to inconsistencies among data of their physical and mailing addresses.
As to the reported cases in other regions, 10 people have tested positive for the virus in Aragatsotn, 51 – in Armavir, 4 – in Lori, 6 – in Shirak, 8 – in Syunik, 1 – in Vayots Dzor, and 2 – in Tavush.
