68-year-old patient dies of coronavirus complications in Armenia
A 68-year-old patient has died in Nork Infectious Clinical Hospital in Yerevan after being diagnosed with the novel coronavirus.
In a post on Facebook, Alina Nikoghosyan, the spokeswoman of the Ministry of Health, said the patient had double pneumonia.
“In addition, the citizen had underlying health conditions, including ischemic heart disease and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,” she said.
This makes Armenia’s fifth coronavirus-related death. All of them had underlying medical conditions.
