Around 25 Armenian citizens stranded at Domodedovo airport in Moscow – Embassy
The Armenian Embassy in Russia maintains contact with Armenian citizens in Domodedovo airport of Moscow, the Embassy said in a statement on Friday.
“The Embassy representatives visited them and provided them with essential goods. According to the Embassy estimates, around 25 citizens are currently at the airport, 18 of which upon their wish were accommodated at a nearby hotel by the Embassy,” the statement said.
“We once again urge all our citizens to maintain contact with the Armenian Embassy in Russia, trust in information from official sources, keep vigilance and remain calm,” the statement added.
To remind, hundreds of migrant workers mainly from Central Asia have been stranded at Moscow airports after Russia closed its borders to try to stop the spread of coronavirus.
