Famous Armenian physicist Mishik Kazaryan dies in Moscow
Famous Armenian physicist, Professor Mishik Kazaryan has died in a Moscow hospital, Gazeta.ru reports, citing Moskovskiy Komsomolets newspaper.
The scientist’s wife, gynecologist Arpik Asatryan, died on March 26 after testing positive for the novel coronavirus.
The spouses were hospitalized in mid-March.
After his wife’s death, Kazaryan began developing double pneumonia, which was confirmed as the cause of his death.
The couple had not come into contact with people infected with coronavirus and had not been abroad.
