
PM: Armenia’s number of coronavirus recoveries exceeds new cases for first time
A total of 211 coronavirus tests were performed in Armenia on Monday, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in a Facebook live on Tuesday.
Only 20 tests produced positive results, he said.
Meanwhile, 25 patients were declared cured from COVID-19 and discharged from hospital on Monday, the premier said, stressing the number of coronavirus recoveries exceeded new cases in the country for the first time since the outbreak.
"We remain cautiously optimistic," Pashinyan said.
Armenia reported 833 confirmed coronavirus cases on Monday morning.
