93-year-old patient dies of coronavirus complications in Armenia
A 93-year-old person has died of coronavirus complications in Armenia, while eight patients are in a critical condition, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in a Facebook post on Wednesday,
The deceased also had cancer, the premier said.
The results of 28 coronavirus tests out of 311 have come back positive, he said.
27 more patients have recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 114 in the country, the PM said.
In Pashinyan’s words, 90% of the coronavirus patients do not even have fever.
"In general, we remain cautiously optimistic," the PM said, adding if the positive dynamics continues in the next few days, it will mean that Armenia has passed its peak of coronavirus, which was on March 31.
