Snow reported in number of town in Armenia
Some roads are mainly passable in the territory of Armenia as of April 11, at 8.00, Armenia’s ministry of emergency situations reported. According to the source, roadways leading to Amberd fortress and lake Kari of Aragatsotn Province are going to be closed for an indefinite period of time.
Snow is reported in Gavar, Martuni, Vardenis towns of Gegharkunik province, Hrazdan town of Kotayk province as well as Jermuk town of vayits Dzor region.
According to the information provided by ministry of internal affairs of Georgia Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open only for trucks after intensive snow removal. Meanwhile, the decision of the entry ban on foreign nationals to Georgia remains in force. The ban will not apply to the freight transport. Drivers are recommended to drive exclusively on winter tires.
