45 Armenian students arrived home
Due to the agreement reached with Georgian authorities, 35 Armenian schools students from the US and 10 from Israel were transported to Armenia from Georgia, the Armenian Embassy in Georgia reported.
“Following the special permission given to the Embassy, the two buses from Armenia crossed the Georgian border and successfully transported the RA citizens back to Armenia accompanied by a patrol police through a corridor in Marneuli region which is under lockdown,” the Embassy said, adding its staff has coordinated the arrival of Armenia citizens in Tbilisi, and the follow-up works of transferring them to Bagratashen checkpoint.
To remind, as a result of collaboration between Armenian and Georgian MFAs in cooperation with the American Councils, 34 FLEX students and another student studying in the U.S. within the ACES program returned to Tbilisi. They will be subject to a 14-day mandatory quarantine regime.
