Total number of voters released in Artsakh ahead of presidential election runoff
Artsakh is set to host a second round of voting to decide its next president on April 14. Ahead of the runoff elections, the Police has released the total number of voters eligible to cast a ballot. The number of eligible voters in the country stands at 103,637, the Police reported. 832 voters of the total number will cast a ballot at the polling station to be opened in Yerevan. 1270 voters are included in additions lists, the source said.
In total, 282 polling stations have been established across the country. In the second round of the polls Chairman of the United Homeland Party Arayik Harutyunyan will face off Foreign Minister Masis Mayilyan. In the first round Harutyunyan collected 49.26 % of the votes, while Mayilyan – 26.4%.
