Media Advocate initiative stops monitoring work of Commandant’s Office with media outlets
Media Advocate initiative states that after the Armenian government’s decision to lift the restrictions on media during the extended state of emergency, it has decided to stop its intensive monitoring of the work of the Commandant’s Office with the media outlets.
“We hope that this situation will be continuous, and will not be of a fictitious nature, that is the news outlets will not be urged to remove this or that material,” the initiative said in a statement.
“Media Advocate initiative restarts its main monitoring activity, which is the monitoring of politicians and will continue following the work of the Commandant’s Office with the media outlets,” the statement read.
