Exports of essential foodstuffs from EAEU banned for three months
Imports of some food and agricultural products from third countries to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) territory will be exempt from customs duties by June 30, a video posted on the Facebook page of the Armenian government revealed.
"This is an alternative way to meet the local demand and ensure food provision not only in Armenia, but also in the entire EAEU territory," Deputy Minister of Economy Varos Simonyan said in the video.
The minister also informed that for six months, until September 30, medical supplies will be imported to the EAEU on preferential terms.
Exports of essential foodstuffs from the EAEU are banned for three months until June 30, he said.
