Armenia reports two more deaths from coronavirus
Two more patients died from coronavirus in Armenia on Monday, bringing the national death toll to 16.
Ministry of Health spokeswoman Alina Nikoghosyan identified the victims as 65-year-old and 82-year-old patients, who had developed double pneumonia and acute respiratory failure.
“In addition, they had underlying chronic health conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, ischemic heart disease and acute renal failure,” she said on Facebook.
The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases have increased by 28 to 1,067 in Armenia as of Tuesday.
54 more patients have recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recoveries to 265.
