8 Armenian citizens return from Sudan
As a result of negotiations with the Georgian authorities, it became possible to arrange the return of 8 Armenian citizens from Sudan’s capital Khartoum to Tbilisi, Georgia, on Monday, April 13.
Afterwards, thanks to the special permission received by the Armenian Embassy in Georgia, the citizens were transported to Armenia by an Armenian minibus having arrived in Tbilisi, though a corridor in the Marneuli region considered a strict quarantine zone. They were accompanied by patrol police officers, the embassy said in a statement.
The Armenian Embassy in Georgia coordinated the activities for the arrival of the Armenian citizens in Tbilisi and their transfer to Bagratashen checkpoint, the statement said.
