Vrej Agajanian selected as Glendale Mayor
On Monday, April 13, 2020, Glendale City Council Member Vrej Agajanian was selected as the City’s Mayor by fellow council members. Agajanian takes over the position from outgoing Mayor Ara Najarian, Massis Post reports.
This is Agajanian’s first time serving in the position of mayor.
Consul General of Armenia in Los Angeles Armen Baibourtian congratulated Agajanian on the appointment, wishing him “a successful tenure and many wonderful achievements.”
“I would like to express confidence that he, as a man of high qualities and experience, will successfully lead the City of Glendale in these incredibly challenging times,” he said on Facebook.
