Labor migrants can be employed in local construction sector- Suren Papikyan
The Armenian labor migrants who are unable to leave for Russia this year will be involved in the local construction sector, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan stated at the Q/A session at parliament.
“Large-scale construction works have started in different parts of the country, including road-construction activities through multi-billion projects.
I have instructed the governors to hold meetings with construction companies during the implementation of upcoming subvention programs and encourage them to hire construction workers who regularly leave for Russia for employment. Our construction workers have a good reputation, while during the year the local sector has a demand of work force,” the minister said, urging the sector representatives to register and set up construction companies for the upcoming construction tenders.
