Maria Zakharova: The Nagorno Karabakh peace process continues despite the coronavirus pandemic
Despite the situation of the spread of coronavirus, works on the Nagorno Karabakh peace settlement continue, spokeswoman for the Russian foreign ministry Maria Zakharova said Friday at a regular briefing with reporters.
Zakharova reminded that Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov recently held negotiations with his Armenian and Azerbaijani counterparts and reviewed issues related to the NK conflict. The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and the personal representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk also maintain regular contact with the parties, the Russian diplomat.
“The sides exchange their views on the novel coronavirus pandemic and its impact on the negotiations process, the rsettlement of the Karabakh conflict and the situation on the frontline”, Zakharova added.
