MES: 11 cases of death registered in the past week due to emergencies
On April 13-19, in total 249 cases were registered in Crisis Management National Center of ministry of emergency situations (MES), 157 of which were emergent, including 96 cases of fire, two cases of collapse, one case of search and rescue, one case of drowning, 41 road traffic accidents, nine suicide attempts, 64 household calls. As the ministry said in its weekly update, as a result there were 63 casualties and two citizens were rescued due to the operative rescue activities.
Four cases of poisoning were registered: as a result there were seven casualties. 11 cases of death were registered during the last week. Three cases of transport means blockage were registered caused by weather conditions and other factors. The rescuers rendered assistance to 10 citizens and removed three means of transport blocked on the roadways to safe areas.
The ministry urges to be as vigilant as possible and keep safety rules both in everyday life and on roads.
