Armenian citizens forced out of Moscow airport
The management of Moscow Domodedovo Airport forced Armenian citizens out of the airport building.
More than a hundred citizens had been waiting for a flight at the airport for a few days.
According to the citizens gathered outside, the airport officials were allegedly disinfecting the building.
"I'm videotaping this so that [Prime Minister] Nikol [Pashinyan] can see it. Can it really be this hard to provide an airplane?” Armen Markosyan said, posting a video outside the airport on Facebook.
Earlier, the Armenian Embassy in Russia said that a total of 135 Armenian citizens were stranded at the Moscow airport. Despite numerous appeals, they refused to leave the airport.
The Commandant’s Office, in turn, issued a statement that a flight from Moscow to Yerevan could be carried out only after April 23.
