Armenian army chief visits northeastern military units
Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Artak Davtyan paid a visit to the country’s northeastern military units on Tuesday to get acquainted with the organization of military service and ongoing renovation work.
The army chief also visited the military posts and familiarized himself with the operational situation in the given area of the border, the level of combat, physical and moral-psychological training of the personnel, as well as the ongoing engineering and fortification work on the frontline, the Defense Ministry’s press service reported.
Artak Davtyan tasked the commanders of the subdivisions to increase the efficiency of on-duty service and to encourage the servicemen who stand out during the military service.
