All our steps are called to serve our national interests - FM
"Any action in politics should be a result of a balanced and discreet calculation, and that is what guides us in our relations with others,” Armenia’s FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said during an interview with Public TV company when asked to comment on the Armenian-Turkish relations.
In the FM’s words, in addition to the fact that we are living in a reality of denied justice, Turkey exacerbates the situation through its actions – among them keeping the border closed with Armenia and the unilateral support to Azerbaijan in the NK conflict.
“All these circumstances combined pose a threat to us, and we respond to that threat in a way the state should react - that is a balanced and discreet calculation to ensure our national security. All our steps come to serve our national interest,” the minister stressed.
