Tigran Abrahamyan: Azerbaijan’s activeness escalates the current situation at the frontline
Around 3,500 shots have been fired toward the Artsakh defense army in the past week, Advisor to Artsakh president Tigran Abrahamyan wrote on his Facebook page, analyzing the increase in ceasefire violations on the Line of Contact between Artsakh and Azerbaijan.
Apart from the drastic increase in ceasefire violations, Abrahamyan pointed to the Azerbaijani UAV’s constant flights over the conflict zone and the recent incident when the Artsakh air defense forces shot down an ORBITER type drone. In his words, all mentioned circumstances come to prove the increased tensions.
“Added to this, the Azerbaijani activeness on the frontline, in particular, the construction of engineering infrastructure, comes to record an escalation of the situation,” Abrahamyan wrote.
