Coronavirus disease dramatically worsened young person’s health – Ministry of Health
A young coronavirus patient has died in Armenia, bringing the national death toll to 33.
The deceased was a 27-year-old female patient who had underlying health conditions, spokeswoman of the Ministry of Health Alina Nikoghosyan said on Facebook.
“The 27-year-old patient had been hospitalized for about a month, being under the supervision of doctors. She was in a critical condition as she had congenital chronic health conditions,” the spokesperson wrote.
“Unfortunately, the coronavirus disease dramatically worsened the young person’s health and her life could not be saved,” she said.
According to the fresh figures, the cases of COVID-19 have increased by 82 to 2,148 in Armenia. The total number of recoveries stands at 977.
